How does an orientation sensor in a camera work?
This sensor allows the camera / comptuer to know whether the photo needs to be rotated 90 degrees. What sort of technology does it use? Some sort of sensor? Image processing?
Orientation sensor
This allows the camera to know if you are taking a vertical/portrait or horizontal/landscape photo and automatically rotate the photo accordingly so that you don't have to do it manually or with software once you download the photos to your computer.
In Canon cameras, which is what I use,there's a little gravity switch that is located in the prism housing. When the camera is moved from vertical to horizontal, or vice versa, it moves according to gravity and the position of the camera.

You should have just done a search this question has been answered a LOT now.
First off there is no set date for the release of cost. As of right now there project natal is just an idea really. There is nothing in the way of having it canceled. Also there are many things it will have to pass before it can go into mass production and be publicly available. That will also determine how much it will cost. As of right now people have guessed that it will cost anywhere between $75-$200.
