Welcome to the Biology I Accelerated "How Light Effects Plants" webpage. This site will explain the differences between natural and artificial light-primarily incandescent and fluorescent lighting and their effect on plants. Also, an in depth look at how much light a plant needs will be provided, and we will investigate if plants can thrive and grow in total daylight of each kind of artificial light.
